Hey Guys. Sorry for not blogging for a couple days. I've been kinda busy. Tuesday I had play practice for an hour, I got the part of the father in the school play. Wednesday I had show choir practice, we have a performance in December. We sang Christmas songs, I love Christmas time. I got my senior pictures back, they were pretty good, or so I've been told. We had a two hour delay today, I got to sleep in. I also worked today. It was just a five hour shift so it was pretty easy. Sorry this is so short, I'm listening to the song "Freckles" right now, its the theme to Rurouni Kenshin, another anime, its an awesome song. Later days.

Hey you all. I've had a different day today. I haven't been to school in a week and today was my first day back. I wish I could do the play all year round and then graduate, my life would be much easier. I got to see all my friends I haven't seen for a week and catch up on my classes. I was tired all day today because I haven't adjusted to school yet. We are preparing for a new Christmas play at school, so today wasn't completely useless. It's title is "The Best Christmas pageant Ever" I've done it before. I was the best part a young boy could get, Charlie, I couldn't get that part this year though because I'm much older. We're staying after school tomorrow to see if we have enough people to do it, I hope we do. I really want to do another play so I can better hone my acting skills. That's about all I did today, until later, Later Days.

Hey you guys. Sorry I haven't posted for a while, I've just been busy. Friday I went to school in the morning, then went to the play, then a football game where I played with the band, and then to work to try and get some hours in anyway. Today was our last performance. My very last S.T.A.G.E. production. Its been a lot of fun these five years and I hope I can keep doing what I love, acting and singing for my supper. I will do some more plays, I am determined this will not be my last one. I'll do at least one in college anyway. We had a party after the play today, I said my goodbyes, praying is will not be my last time to talk to these people, and left my worries behind, for I don't think of this as a ending, more of a beginning. Til' next time, Later Days.

Hey there. Today was our first night performance. That's when the community can come and watch it. We did a good job, I think. I love going to the night performances because I get to see people I haven't seen for a while. I've done these plays since I was in eighth grade, so I've met a lot of people, and most of my graduated friends come back at night to see them. That happened tonight. One of my favorite people from past plays is Andrea Hall. She played the witch in "The Wizard of Oz." She is one of the best actresses I know, and a great person. I saw her tonight, in case your really slow and didn't catch my lead in to it. I had a good conversation with her about what she's doing now and how she's been, it made me feel good inside to see her again. I love these plays, this being my last year makes me think. I wonder if people will feel that way about me, if when I come to see the play at night and talk to my old friends, they have a warm feeling inside and go home happy. I hope so, I hope I left my mark there and I will be remembered in the little kids doing this show. If I can be remembered for just five more years, I'll be a happy boy. At least you can remember me and follow my every day in this blog, thanks. See ya', Later days.

Hey ya'll. This was an eventful day. The play opened today, everyone I've talked to said it was good. I'm really proud of us, we pulled it off and people liked it. We performed two times today, it was fun. After the play I went to work. I was at work for only a couple of hours because there was a real bad storm today. I live near a creek and if I would of stayed at work, I probably wouldn't have made it home. I went home and fell asleep on the couch again. I really need to start staying awake, however one does that. Maybe I could just lock myself in my room and blast the pillows as loud as my stereo will go. For those of you who don't know, the pillows are a Japanese punk band, one of my favorite bands I might add. So there, now you know where half of my title comes from. I discovered them on an Anime called "Fooly Cooly." Watch it sometime, it is a really awesome anime, maybe the best one I've watched. I really like anime. . . .anyway, you guys have a great day, and until then, Later Days.

Hey you all. I just got back from play practice. This was a long day, I went in at 11:20 a.m. and left at about 7:00 p.m. The show opens tomorrow and its coming along rather well. The first performance is to my high school, lots of fun. We're going to do great though, I have no worries, not anymore. Plays are weird things, they seem like your nowhere near ready, then at the last rehearsal it all comes together. After practice I had to go to work and get my schedule changed. I only work weekends because of school and all the other things I do, but then one of those other things clash with work. For example, our performances were going to be on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I already worked it out so I could be off Saturday and then I'd work Sunday and we'd all be happy. But, as I have already told you, my high school football team made the playoffs, that's good and all, but the first game happens to be on Friday night, that's right, our second night performance. The performance had to be moved to Sunday, the day I work. So now, after tomorrow's day performances, I go to work to make up for not working Sunday, but I'm now off Sunday, so we're all happy again. That was pretty much my day, so 'til next time, Later days.

Hey you guys. I was going to write another blog as soon as I got home from play practice, but I fell asleep on the couch before I got a chance to. I'm awake now though, so here goes. I went to play practice today and I really feel like we're not ready. The play opens in two days and we have only done the last seen like three times maybe. I have this feeling every year and it always turns out great, so I hope this year isn't any different. I play Fred, Scrooge's nephew who is very cheerful about Christmas. I'm glad I got this role because it is not hard for me to play. When I say the line, "Christmas is about generosity, prosperity, and forgetting about your troubles, even if just for a few hours," I have to take a step back because I could so easily find myself saying that to someone with Yule time doubt. Its weird this in mid-November I have the Christmas Spirit starting to matriculate down my blood stream. It must be this play, I do love Christmas, but never this early. Maybe this will be good for me, or maybe I will be so joyous, so early, when Christmas rolls around, I may be all out of glee. My Holiday problems aside, I had a pretty good day. I hope all of you can have days and Holidays as joyous as mine. 'Til next time, Later days.

Hey all. Since this is my first post I guess I'll tell you a little about my self. My name is Terry Bartley. I'm a senior at Scott High School, which is located in Madison, WV. I keep my self busy with lots of activities such as Band, Plays, Forensics(not the cutting up dead people kind, the talky kind), and of course my part-time job at the local Wendy's. Currently I'm in a play called, "Mr. Scrooge" a musical comedy version of "A Christmas Carol." Also, marching band is going on right now and our school team is going to the play-offs, the first time in my whole high school career. The first game is this Friday. That's pretty much me in a nutshell, I'll try to post later today to tell you about my day. Until then, Later Days.
