Jesse McCartney: The Best Male Singers in one Young Body

Yesterday I found Jesse McCartney's solo debut in Walmart for almost $9. I'm not stupid and I have been wanting this for a while, so for a price this cheap, how could I pass it up. After I brought it home and listened to it, I wondered how I got it for so cheap. Its kinda cool, like now I have this awesome artist to myself, because apparently it wasn't jumping off the walmart shelves fast enough at the average $13 price tag. Many of you may know him as a cast member of the WB's "Summerland" but I really think his heart is in music. He co-wrote four of the thirteen tracks on "Beautiful Soul" and has a voice like you wouldn't believe. When I listened to this, he sounded like a blend of all of music's greatest male singers of all time. He blended the sounds of Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Craig David, I even think I heard a little Sting and Phil Collins. Many of the songs bring back memories of when I was in middle school listening to late N*Sync, I know you probably think that's a bad thing, but N*Sync got really good around the end of their existence. I couldn't believe someone as young as Jesse McCartney could sound this good, I knew he was pretty good from "A Cinderella Story" soundtrack, but he is beyond good, beyond great, he borders on beyond awesome. I know you guys think I'm being a media clone again, but he is really good. I hat it when people ignore truly great artists just because they are associated with a bigger, maybe more family oriented, companies, like The WB and Disney. This is one of those CDs everyone should buy just to listen to it. If you like the early sounds of Michael, new Justin, a little Usher, and the flow of Craig David, you should really buy this CD. Don't ignore this, you probably can buy it at your local Walmart for just under $9. Later Days.
